FCC MRA Deadline approaches.

Just another couple of weeks when the new FCC rules for acceptance of radio test reports come into effect. Until now, manufacturers have had the choice of using FCC Listed or FCC Recognized Accredited Test Laboratories.

After 13 July 2016, only FCC Recognized Accredited Test Laboratories located in countries with mutual recognition agreements (MRAs) with the USA may be used for the radio certification approval process. This will restrict FCC testing for certification of radio equipment to Australia, Canada, the EU, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan. Note that China is not yet on this list even though negotiations between the USA and China are ongoing.

Telefication B.V. located in the Netherlands has its FCC / IC sites accredited since many years. And as we are located in the Netherlands with a Mutual Recognition Agreement with the USA, our sites can be used for the Radio Certification Approval Process.

With our FULL automated test system for a diversity of digital modulations (BT, RLAN, WCDMA, LTE etc.) we can offer lead-times which are so competative that the step from USA to EU, or Asia to EU will be just a little one when it comes to maintaining throughput time for testing.

Delaying Xmass 2016? Not needed! Also in the EU we are there to assist you in radio compliance testing AND certification for FCC, IC, CE and Japan.
