Our History

Telefication was established in 1985 by the Dutch postal services (PTT) and the global energy consultancy company KEMA who created their own test lab for Telecommunication Equipment. In 1990 Telefication became an official Notified Body, accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council (Raad van Accreditatie), allowing Telefication to test and certify products for companies in Europe, the United States, Canada and Japan. In 2012 Telefication became a daughter of KIWA, an European institute for testing, inspection and certification. As part of KIWA, Telefication is now a full service company for testing, inspection and certification (TIC) with activities that cover the world.
