The IMO (International Maritime Organization) controls the Safety Of Life At Sea (SOLAS) for all ships worldwide.

The IMO issues technical standards that cover many aspects of equipment installed or used onboard ships, such as MF/HF/VHF transceivers, radars, SES etcetera. 

Telefication offers maritime testing services with respect to:

  • Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS)
  • Digital Selective Calling (DSC)
  • Navigational Telex (Navtex)
  • Inmarsat
  • Emergency Position Inidicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB)
  • Automatic Identificiation System (AIS)

Naturally our scope of testing services includes the assessment to the operational and environmental requirements, as contained in EN 60945.
